Zig-Zag Roof House in Dwell: Victorian Terrace Extension, Camberwell

Dwell has published a House Tour of the Zig-Zag Roof House, a Victorian terrace extension in Camberwell, South London. The piece follows how 4SA worked with the adjoining neighbour to maximise height at the shared boundary, drew daylight into a previously dark and cramped ground floor, and shaped a flexible space that adapts as the family's needs change. It looks closely at the moves that make the extension hard-working: deep window reveals that double as seating, custom ash cabinetry, and a foldaway coffee station that hides kitchen clutter at mealtimes.
