Tarisio London: a Cat B fit-out for Fine Instruments and Bows

We are pleased to have completed the Cat B fit-out for Tarisio, Fine Instruments and Bows, within one of the units of our John Nash designed, Grade II listed Ulster Terrace refurbishment in the Regent's Park Conservation Area.

We have been working with Tarisio to develop a thorough understanding of their operations, needs and aspiration for the space, through in-depth conversations and site visits.

Previously based in a smaller London space, Tarisio now have a flagship showroom to match their established New York and Berlin locations, bringing together a public-facing gallery, acoustically considered rehearsal rooms, and a workshop where visitors can see instruments being repaired and maintained.

The fit-out is bespoke. Working in close collaboration with a specialist acoustic engineer, we designed dedicated rehearsal rooms tuned to give clients a true reading of each instrument as they test it before purchase. The gallery itself takes full advantage of the building's generous bow windows and the views across Regent's Park, with a material palette that sits quietly against the listed fabric.

Honouring the past, designing for the future.
