Zig Zag Roof House Longlisted: Don't Move, Improve! 2021

New London Architecture has longlisted 4SA's Zig Zag Roof House, a Victorian terrace in Camberwell, in the London Borough of Southwark, for Don't Move, Improve! 2021, its annual programme recognising London's most inventive home transformations. The defining move is the roof itself: a zig zag profile that lifts the ceiling height and brings architectural interest where a flat roof would otherwise have sat. Projects are selected for innovation, cost effectiveness and creativity that adds to London's neighbourhoods and to residents' quality of life.
